poetry for dental

when i look over

he's yawning

so sudden those yawns come

forgiven

they mean yet nothing

but I can look into his mouth

see I can, his mouth's fight for breath

feel I can his mouth's de-lashing of softness, to pause from rhythm

what I want is inside

what I got was a threshold

what I did was fuck it up

inside

his gravestones of teeth

near a warm thick tongue

commentary

epitaph

welcome

again

the words live inside

like waves that are close to a cave

breakers of breath

afloat the insanity of yawning

hooked on the monotony of spontaneous resources

I have heard it all before
